42nd Street Bar and Grill: Your New Favorite Spot in Myrtle Beach

This hidden gem was new to us but so glad we discovered it! Amazing food, and fabulous service (thanks Cameron!) Unique menu and the specials were delicious! And the presentation was superb!

This is our 4th time dining here around Valentines Day, and ALWAYS GREAT! GREAT SERVICE, DRINKS, APPETIZERS AND ENTRIES!

Elegant. Sophisticated. A price that excites you to come back next week, not next year. Best restaurant in town with an unequal value to dollar. A Myrtle Beach Must Try. Been going to Myrtle 3-4 times a year for years and stumbled across this place last year. I rarely review because anyone can get it right once, but I they have been so consistently delightful. Intimate.

We had such a wonderful dinner in a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the service was just as amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or a perfect date night.

During our recent visit to the restaurant, we had a very positive experience from start to finish. The staff was accommodating and efficiently managed our group of five. I ordered the Beef Wellington, while my grandchildren chose the steak and seafood pasta, all of which were exceptionally delicious. We concluded our meal with dessert, which was also quite satisfying. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband order a steak while I order their best selling snapper and it is amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Easily one of the best I’ve had. The service was just as great—friendly, fast, and super welcoming. Great food, great vibes. Me and my family enjoyed everything. Highly recommend!

Both the Food and Atmosphere were more deserving of a 4.5 star rating but half stars arent available in the rating scale so I dropped it down to the 4 due to the food being really good but not blow me away great. All dishes we ordered were really good at a fair price for the serving size (lobster mac and cheese; seafood medley; chicken dish) and the atmosphere (music, tables, seats, decor) were all very nice. Ambient music was a little louder than I would have preferred but still able to talk over it. I think it could have been a touch too loud as their weren't many people in the restaurant to balance it out. Either way, our party of 3 thoroughly enjoyed their meals and I would definitely recommend this place without fear of disappointment.

From start to finish, this place delivered an incredible dining experience. The servers were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the evening feel extra special. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy and perfect for enjoying a relaxing dinner while still feeling refined. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. For my entrée, I had the Beef Wellington with Mushrooms, and it was nothing short of perfection - tender, juicy, and cooked exactly to temperature. Another highlight at the table was the New York Strip Braveheart with blue cheese, a bold and savory combination that was absolutely mouthwatering. Overall, the food was outstanding, the atmosphere inviting, and the service top-notch. A place I would highly recommend and definitely return to!
